This seven day tour will begin with a visit to the ancient Stonehenge site on the way to Southampton and the wonderful Beaulieu Park. From there we will travel east to Canterbury with its world renowned cathedral and abbey as well as the nearby Leeds Castle. We also venture to the famous white cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle and the lighthouse overlooking the English Channel. As we begin the return journey we will visit the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff before returning by ferry to our Irish shores.

Day 1: Board your luxury coach and travel by ferry to Bristol where we will be staying overnight.

Day 2: In the morning we start with a visit to the ancient site of Stonehenge on our way to Southampton, where we will be based for the next two nights. Southampton is one of the major ports along the southern coast and has a rich cultural history, with museums, art galleries, historic homes and award-winning parks.

Day 3: Today we will visit the nearby Beaulieu Park in the New Forest, including the Palace, Gardens and Abbey. Enjoy a short cruise along Beaulieu River and visit the 18th century ship-building village. Visit the National Motor Museum with over 250 vehicles telling the story of motoring from World Land Speed Record Breakers to Formula 1 racers.

Day 4: Today we will visit the 9th century Leeds Castle in Kent, one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain. Later that afternoon we will continue on to Canterbury to explore the Cathedral, St Augustine’s Abbey and the ancient Church of St Martin, which have been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1988.

Day 5: We travel to nearby Dover for a visit of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle, and a short stroll along the coast to the Lighthouse.

Day 6: Depart Kent and return to Wales today, with a stop in Cardiff and tour of the Millenium Stadium, home of the Welsh Rugby team. Overnight in nearby Swansea.

Day 7: Enjoy a free morning in Swansea before we board the ferry for the return journey.
