Scottish Highlands & Edinburgh's Royal Military Tattoo

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1:
Board your luxury coach and travel by ferry via Belfast to Scotland. We will be based in Glasgow for this tour.

Day 1:
Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond before an afternoon drive to the idyllic town of Inveraray. Located on the western shore of Loch Fyne, we will have a guided tour at the magnificent towered mansion of Inveraray Castle, one of the film locations for the Downton Abbey TV series. We will also take in a whisky tour at Glasgow’s Auchenstoshan Distillery.

Day 3:
We venture north into the heart of the highlands, with a drive through Scotland’s most beautiful glens and a visit to the town of Fort William, located at the foothills of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. Visit the Glencoe Visitor Centre and learn about more about the glens, the people and the culture of the Highland region.

Day 4:
Enjoy a guided tour of Edinburgh City and visit Edinburgh Castle and the ‘Royal Mile’. Enjoy some free time before we dine in Edinburgh City.
That evening we will be attending the traditional Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Festival at Edinburgh Castle.

Day 5:
Enjoy a free morning in Glasgow before we depart Scotland to catch our return ferry to Belfast.
